Remembering Yolanda

November 3, 2013. Super-typhoon Yolanda made landfall in the island of Leyte and proceeded to wreak havoc on the central islands of the Philippines. The devastation was indescribable. Thousands of lives were lost. Damage to property reached the sky. And in those early days, people became desperate. For food, for medicine, for a warm place to stay. For news of their families. For moral support.

And from all over the world, people responded to this call for humanitarian aid. Support came. In funds, in kind, in expressions giving hope and cheer. Some people flew in to personally help in rebuilding communities, rebuilding lives.

It has been 6 years now. And lest people forget, we wish to remind you all of the noble gestures of those heroes who joined us in our hour of need.

Thank you so much, and may God always be with you all.

Thank you so much!!!
