When More is Less, and Less is More

Team chemistry is that intangible ingredient that will make or unmake a team. It refers to the synergy, cohesion and healthy relationships among teammates. It provides the supportive environment that leads to cooperation, and ultimately, success. Thus, in a team sport like basketball, the acquisition of star players may not necessarily lead to success. They have to fit in, they have to gain the trust and confidence of everyone in the team. They have to strive to optimize the bond that keeps the team focused on one goal.

The volatile Draymond still has 2 years in his contract, but his unpredictable character is reportedly causing too much tension among the new faces in the team. With Steph Curry now reaching 36 years of age, the Big 3 (plus Paul and Wiggins) appear to be in the tail-end of their once-glitzy careers.

The Caitlyn Clark Show Moves On

The Caitlin Clark Effect

A new era for women’s basketball is upon us. Barring any injuries, minus some haters in the WNBA and other unforeseen circumstances, Caitlin Clark could change the game of women’s basketball in the way the dynamic duo of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, or the majestic solo air show of Michael Jordan, has done for the NBA. Changing the game, putting women’s basketball on a platform that has never been available before. We wonder what’s in store for the league with Caitlin joining them.
