Steph’s journey to achieve this record is truly amazing. And what’s scary about this is that Steph is still at the prime of his playing years. Given the fact that he still has about 5 years in the NBA, this record could be nothing short of unreachable.
At the start of the season, the LA Lakers were considered the top favorite for this year’s NBA crown. Alas, with a quarter of the season done, the Lakers are languishing in 6th place in the Western Conference, owing to a very mortal 14-13 record. WTF is happening to the almighty Lakers?
The Suns now have what it takes to match up against the best in every position, plus a bench that could be the envy of most coaches in the NBA.

All things considered, the season-opening games have demonstrated how complex the league will look in the months ahead. Both faves – the Lakers and the Nets – were shot down right at the starting gates. Other favorites – the Bucks and the Suns – were just as easily ambushed. The season will be a long unpredictable one, with health becoming the biggest factor.
I have to say it has been a fun and enlightening experience. There’s the sense of pride for having connected with people around the world; there’s the fulfillment in knowing that your doodles are making sense to a group of people out there; and truth to tell, there is so much I have learned since I joined this lovely family of writers.
