End of a Golden Era

The Warriors’ dynasty is over. Klay will now be a free agent, with no indication that the team will be able to afford him a fat contract. The volatile Draymond still has 2 years in his contract, but his unpredictable character is reportedly causing too much tension among the new faces in the team. With Steph Curry now reaching 36 years of age, the Big 3 (plus Paul and Wiggins) appear to be in the tail-end of their once-glitzy careers.

It’s the NBA All-Star Game! Who You Got?

This should be a game similar to the inaugural In-Season Tourney Finals between Lebron James’ Lakers versus Tyrese Halliburton’s Pacers, who incidentally are both starters in this match. In that championship game, Lebron’s bigger, stronger veterans upended Tyrese’s smaller, speedier youngsters. This All-Star game will pit Team Lebron’s size and experience against Team Giannis’ speed and youth.

Where to now, Draymond?

Is Draymond a boon or a bane to the Warriors now? Coach Steve Kerr, in one of his interviews, highlighted Draymond’s loyalty to the Warriors. And he praised Draymond to high heavens for this. But when push comes to shove, will Draymond really be loyal to the Warriors? Or will he be loyal to himself first?
