But while this battle may have been won, the war is not over yet. The POC coup pals continue to crawl their way around, hoping to agitate, hoping to tempt other NSAs like the proverbial snake in the garden of Eden. We must remain vigilant.

Calling for unity is one thing. Making it happen is another. In the fractious world of Philippine sports, you have to own up to some difficult decisions at times.
The campaign to win back our pride in Philippine Sports does not end with the ouster of Peping. We must continue pushing, so that the new POC does not think it’s ‘business as usual’ for them.
Philippine paddlers used to be regarded as one of the world’s best. Until Peping’s folly led to the decline of the sport. Let’s help revive Philippine Dragon Boating.
