Recently, the Business Network International (BNI) Foundation came up with a great program visiting a school to give nuggets of wisdom and inspiration to our young students. I was lucky to be given that wonderful opportunity to break bread with the students of Muntinglupa.
The rejuvenated, invigorated WNBA is now more prominent in the sports map. With the Caitlyn phenomenon upon us, and the new storylines blossoming, there is simply nowhere else to go for the league but up. Come, watch and enjoy.
We are best suited for – and should therefore concentrate on – bantam sports that are fit for our physique. Let’s stop dreaming of making it big in basketball. We can never match up against the behemoths of other countries. Let’s focus instead on such sports as gymnastics, boxing, weightlifting, table tennis, etc. These are the sports that we can truly make a name for ourselves.
S’ Willy was a shining example of what it means to lead with integrity, serve with diligence and hard work, and stand by those who stand by you. His impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him is immeasurable. This is a humble tribute to a man whose life was dedicated to the service of others. May his memory continue to inspire and guide us as we strive to uphold the values and virtues he so exemplified in his own life.
Gilas may have faltered in its quest this year, but there are clear signs of improvement, with the team now no longer intimidated by the beef and bulk of the other teams.
