As I celebrate my 70th birthday, let me reflect on a life journey that has transitioned from the frantic, fast-and-furious military career of my youth to the rewarding, 'vintage' perks of being a senior citizen. Despite the inevitable (sometimes convenient) forgetfulness and the creaking joints, I have embraced the rewards of being 'vintage-y'. I have concluded that true happiness lies in appreciating simple pleasures and peace of mind rather than professional milestones. With my soul feeling much younger than my body, allow me to welcome this new, 'majestic' chapter with more love and more laughter. Pls read: "On Turning 70."
